About

I am Kelli Ann Scheibe, a nurse who learned about the power of nutrition the hard way, through my own midlife struggles. I dealt with sleep problems, weight gain, arthritis, and stomach issues, including reflux.

I transformed my health through clean eating – and now I want to help you do the same thing.

I help busy people pick healthy foods that give them energy and help their gut health – keeping it simple and easy.

Through clean eating tips, meal plans, and shopping guides, I’ll show you how good food can heal your body and change your life.

No hard rules, no expensive foods – just real nutrition that works.

About Me: A Journey from VT Mountains to SC Holistic Living

Hi there! I’m so glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet. My story starts in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, where I learned that the best things in life really are the simplest ones.

Growing Up with Real Food
I was lucky to grow up in a small Vermont town where fresh air, changing seasons, and real food were just part of everyday life. My family belonged to our local organic food coop long before it was trendy. Our pantry was filled with dried fruits and nuts instead of processed snacks, and I didn’t even taste store-bought bread until I left for college!

This wasn’t because we were trying to be different – it’s just how we lived. My parents taught me that food should nourish your body, and the closer it came from the earth, the better. Those early lessons stuck with me and became the foundation for everything I believe about eating well.

Finding My Path to Wellness
In high school, I discovered something that changed my life: exercise wasn’t just about staying in shape – it was amazing for my mental health too. Running through Vermont’s trails, biking country roads, skiing down snowy mountains, and swimming in clear lakes became my go-to stress relief. I found that regular movement didn’t just keep me fit; it helped me think clearly, feel happier, and handle whatever life threw my way.

But wellness isn’t just about food and exercise. In my 30s, after going through a difficult divorce, I learned there was another piece to the puzzle. That’s when I discovered breathwork, meditation, and yoga. These practices taught me things I never knew I needed: self-compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, and a deeper understanding of myself. They became just as important as my exercise and home-cooked meals.

A Career Dedicated to Health
My passion for helping others led me to become a maternal-child nurse. There’s nothing quite like helping women bring healthy babies into the world – it’s where my love for holistic health really came alive. I saw firsthand how the choices we make about food, movement, and stress management affect not just us, but our families, too.

I couldn’t stop learning. In my 40s, I completed my Master’s degree, and in my 50s, I earned my doctorate (Executive Health Leadership). Each step taught me more about how powerful a holistic approach to health can be. Working with fellow nurses (who often give 110% to everyone else while forgetting themselves) and teaching expectant mothers about healthy lifestyle choices showed me how small changes can make huge differences.

Sharing What I’ve Learned
Over the years, I’ve become what my friends lovingly call a “small but mighty army of support” for everyone around me. Through everyday conversations, I share little tips that make healthy living doable – maybe it’s a simple recipe swap, a 10-minute morning walk, or just remembering to write down three things you’re grateful for each day.

I believe the best advice comes in small, manageable pieces. Nobody needs to overhaul their entire life overnight. Instead, I love helping people find those tiny changes that add up to big transformations over time.

Always Learning, Always Growing
Even now, I’m constantly learning. You’ll find me listening to health podcasts while I cook, reading the latest research during my morning coffee, or diving into a good book about nutrition or wellness. I believe that staying curious and open to new ideas keeps life interesting and helps me be a better guide for others.

My philosophy has always been simple: the best life is one that’s uncomplicated, focuses on the whole person (not just one part), and finds joy in helping others feel their best.

From Vermont to South Carolina
These days, I’m living near the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in South Carolina. The scenery may be different from my Vermont roots, but my commitment to simple, healthy living hasn’t changed a bit. What has changed is my desire to reach more people with this message.

That’s why I started this blog. I want to share everything I’ve learned over the years – from those early lessons about real food in Vermont to the wellness practices that have carried me through life’s ups and downs. My hope is that by sharing my story and the practical tips I’ve gathered along the way, I can help create a community where everyone feels supported on their own journey to better health.

Whether you’re just starting to think about eating cleaner, looking for simple ways to add more movement to your day, or wanting to build healthy habits that actually stick, I’m here to walk alongside you. We’re all in this together, learning from each other and celebrating every small step forward.

Welcome to our community – I’m so excited to share this journey with you!
